Today, we went to Los Baños. But no, that’s not what I’m going to talk about.
I woke up at around 6 A.M. feeling groggy… So I went downstairs and slept on the sofa.
ZzzzzzzzZzzzzzz…
No dreams for me, but my Ate did.
She woke me up, saying that she dreamt about me.
Well, I was kinda flattered. Nah!
She had a nightmare. The gist of her nightmare was that a bride took me as a pianist during her wedding this Sunday, May 27. The catch is, if I make a mistake in playing, she won’t return me to my family. There was one problem though: the bride wanted me to play another version of The Lord’s Prayer. I couldn’t play it. There was not much time, apparently the date of the wedding being two days from now…
Her dream was cut short.
Then Ate was beside me, waking my tired body which was lying spread-eagled onto the sofa.
So the day went by smoothly. We went to Los Baños, and headed home via Mount Makiling. My cellphone rang when we were halfway through the mountain.
“Hello Anjo, si Tita Tess (one of the instrumentalists in our church) ‘to. Pwede ka bang tumugtog sa kasal bukas?”
k-k-k-kasal!
I mouthed the words “tugtog daw ako sa kasal” to my Ate, who was violently opposing the thought.
Well, after a few minutes of discussion, I told Tita Tess that I would see if I can play tomorrow, seeing that I have had not much practice (although I know I can do it flawlessly
LoL. Conceited.
Just kidding.), and the wedding is less than 24 hours away.
Oh, and there’s Ate’s dream to consider.
Well, I declined the proposal to play in the wedding. It was supposed to be my first wedding too, saying, “Sa susunod na lang po, may lakad po kasi kami bukas eh. Sorry po,” when we have none… O_o
P.S. Oooohhhh! Pang True Philippine Ghost Stories ang kuwento! Haha.
Labo.
